Eleven people died while 16 others were injured after a commuter omnibus carrying members of an apostolic sect from Mutare was involved in a head-on collision with a Honda Fit at the 180km peg along Harare-Mutare highway on Monday.

Police national Spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the accident.
