I am fine. Don’t worry: Khama Billiat

Kaizer Chiefs and Zimbabwe national team forward, Khama Billiat, was involved in an accident in South Africa on Sunday night but claims he was well.

The accident happened hours after the Amakhosi star played a crucial role that marshalled his team into the final of the Nedbank Cup in May.

Billiat (28) put in a Man of the Match performance over the weekend as the Glamour Boys beat Chippa United 4-2 in the Nedbank Cup semi-final, with the former Mamelodi Sundowns man rounding off the game with a superb solo strike to seal their progression to the final.

No official statement has come from Kaizer Chiefs but Billiat, who is eyeing a crucial role for Zimbabwe at the Egypt Afcon finals, said he was well though his car was damaged.

“Guys, I am fine. Don’t worry, it’s just the car, don’t worry. I am going home now. Perfect,” he said in the video he posted to his fans.

His accident could have sent Kaizer Chiefs fans into panic as recently, promising teen midfielder, Wiseman Meyiwa, was forced into early retirement after an accident left him paralysed.
