What ED Needs and Why Chamisa will not fail

The problem bedeviling most politicians is that they want to rule men using natural laws. Man in himself is a spirit and therefore only spiritual laws work on him.

You can be an eloquent orator but still fail to move people. You might have good policies and still fail to move an economy. The economy is driven by people who are spiritual beings.

One thing that our leaders should always know is that “man cannot rule man.” Man was never designed to rule himself. Instead, he was designed to be led by our Heavenly Father. As a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, it is my earnest belief that hope is never completely lost, because God’s sovereign plan of the ages will forever prevail — no matter how desperate things may appear on the surface.

But if my brief time on this earth, and my understanding of history, have taught me anything, it is that only a fool would place his wholehearted hope and trust in man’s ability to rule himself. In fact, if history is a guide to anything, it is a guide to the consistent knucklehead acts of mankind throughout the ages.

Disregarding spiritual laws is tantamount to idolatry. A leader has to break free of this idolatry to avoid the risk of 'strongholds' blocking any significant progress being advocated.

A man of the spirit understands that life is spiritual and therefore it can only be controlled by spiritual laws. The bible tells us 'Man thinks evil continually.' These wicked imaginations are spiritual strongholds and the bible tells us how to break free:

2 Corinthians 10 NIV

"4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete."
