On April 19, 2019 the 17 year old boy went to Ndewera Nyengera’s homestead situated at Neshuro Village and broke a window and entered the bedroom.
After investigations were made US$209, R2810, RTGS245, 70 and buddie airtime worth RTGS$150 were recovered which led to the arrest of the boy.
After appearing before Mwenezi Resident Magistrate Honesty Musiiwa the accused pleaded guilty and was slapped with 10 months in prison on condition that he does not commit a similar offence in the next five years.
The Magistrate warned him that he deserved a jail sentence after the crime he had committed and was only saved by his age.
